Anne Arundel Archers
holds outdoor archery classes every spring and fall through the Anne Arundel County Dept. of Parks and Rec. Pre-registration through the county is required. Equipment is furnished. Classes are for 5 consecutive Saturday mornings – For 2013 the Spring session starts on April 6th and the Fall session starts on September 7th
Eutaw Forest Archers
provides on an as-needed basis, camping accommodations and demonstrations for Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts who want to earn their badges. EFA also holds a 3-D Animal Bowhunter shoot for all ages every Thursday evening starting at 4 pm from June through September (18 weeks), with on-site assistance to those shooters who need it
Heart of Maryland Bowhunters
has a youth month long youth archery youth archery sessions in May, June and September for instruction, practice and archery fun. The sessions are open to youth ages 7– 15. Archery instruction covers safety, the basics of target archery. All equipment is provided. Youth who have their own equipment are welcome to use it; however, it must be inspected and approved by the instructors. Instruction in traditional archery and bow hunting is available for those who are interested. The program is led by NFAA, NAA and 4-H Certified Instructors. Youth participants are invited to HMB’s Family Night Youth 3-D shoot on August 17th for an introduction to 3-D archery. Youth archery participants may join HMB as youth members at a reduced cost. Mayberry Archers

Oriole Archers
Freestate Archers is located in Timonium, Maryland just North of Baltimore. Practices are held at Ridgely Middle School. They are organized through the National Archery Association (NAA), and are governed by WAF (formally, FITA) rules, which also governs Olympic competition. The club is a Junior Olympic Archery Development Program (JOAD). As students progress in their skills, they can earn a variety of awards. Participants may enter competitions to further test their skills, their motivation, and judge their progress. Dues are $50 per year. Equipment costs an additional $55. The club provides the bows and other props for practices. They practice outdoors on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3:30 to 5:30 pm from April 1st - October 30th. Then they practice indoors on Fridays, from 4:30 to 6:30 pm from November 1st - March 30th. Contact Ted Light 410-252-8292, tedlight8@gmail.com
Southern Maryland Archer’s
Indoor Fall League will be Oct 3th-Dec 20st, Winter League is Jan 3rd-Mar 10. Beginners and Youth lessons are offered by appointment. Archery equipment is provided. Youth practice is on the first and third Saturdays of the month.
Tuscarora Archers
has a Youth Archery Program. Archery instruction for beginners and youth (ages 5-15) are offered in two 4 week sessions beginning in January and February of each year. Classes are held on Friday evenings from 7-9pm, for $30 per student. Classes are limited to 24 students; archery equipment is available. Twelfth Precinct Archery and Pistol Club
runs a Youth program every summer for ages 5 to 16 years that teaches young people archery and riflery in an environment that stresses safety and ethics. It begins the fourth Sunday in June and runs through October from 2 pm to 5 pm. At the archery range and air rifle range various reactive targets are used (balloons, spinners, silhouettes, or even animal crackers) to keep interest high. For those interested in earning archery or marksmanship awards, they offer an additional program where youngsters can progress at their own pace. Vingt-Neuf Bowmen
has archery instruction geared toward beginner’s during our indoor season. It is priced to keep it affordable for families to participate. We use Genesis Compound Bows but we will discuss the various styles of archery. Archers are welcome to use their own equipment. The classes are on select Saturdays, 8:30AM and 10:30AM.
